At Thanksgiving my family doesn’t really do much. I usually just go outside and play and climb trees. My mom makes this really good stuffing and turkey with cranberry stuff. This year I am going to ask my dad if we can spar or grapple or maybe do hyungs.

Around Thanksgiving my family and I go to my aunt and uncles for Thanksgiving. All of my cousins and aunts and uncles come down too! We have a lot of fun! This year my sister and my mom and I are going to New Jersey to look at horses. We are staying with our trainer. We are having Thanksgiving with her! My dad and brother are staying home. Hopefully my Thanksgiving present will be a new pony! A tradition we have in my family is to have a small Thanksgiving dinner with just my family one weekend before Thanksgiving. I am very excited for this Thanksgiving!

What we do at thanksgiving most of the time is a huge meal with the whole family. We have fun outside after and not much time is spent inside. Other than that it is a normal day pretty much. We also take time to appreciate what we take for granted.

On Thanksgiving Day we go up to my grandparent’s house. Which is in Rochester. We bring pumpkin bread, we watch football games, we eat turkey, mashed potatoes, squash, and we eat the pumpkin bread that we make at 2:00 in the afternoon.

At thanksgiving we go to my grandparents for dinner. Our cousins come down from Maine and stay for awhile. We have a table with some food when we get there. Then we have a huge dinner with a lot of food. The foods are peas, turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy. We have some sort of pie for dessert. After dinner the cousins play. The next day we go back to our grandparents and see our cousins again. Then our cousins leave. Thanksgiving is really fun.

This Thanksgiving my mom is coming down from New Rochelle, New York. We don’t usually do anything special for Thanksgiving; we just relax and go outside. Me and my brother’s play outside the whole day, we also play some football. For dinner my mom makes turkey, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. After dinner we might watch a little football but not a lot. My brothers and I just stay up late doing stuff. That’s what I do for my Thanksgiving!

My family doesn’t really have any tradition for thanksgiving but we usually go to visit family somewhere for it. This year we are going to my aunt’s house. She said there is going to be 19-20 people! My mom makes the best desserts for Thanksgiving! My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving! I am so excited!

At Thanksgiving we invite some of our family and eat turkey. We don’t really have a tradition. So we watch a little TV. Before we eat the turkey we say thanks to God than we eat. When my family members come they usually stay for a week. Then they go.

On thanksgiving we always go to my aunt and uncles house with a bunch of my other cousins and there is always a big dinner with pie and a lot of other food. My Aunt always makes her special bean dip. Once she puts it on the snack table everyone is crowding around it! One thing I love about thanksgiving I get to see all of my relatives I never get to see. he day after or before my family also has a special dinner, but it’s a lot smaller than the one at my aunt’s house!!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. My family is going to my cousin’s house. There will be 10-15 people at their house. We play board games and have a HUGE turkey dinner. My Aunt and Uncle have horses. My sister and I like to ride them and take care of them. We are spending two nights. I’m not sure what else we are doing. I’m sure we will have a great time! I am so excited for Thanksgiving!

My family invites people over for Thanksgiving. The people that come over are my grandparents, uncle and aunt and cousins. And my grandma’s friend also comes over. Thanksgiving is exciting.

My family begins Thanksgiving with coffee and conversation. We then disperse into the kitchen to begin preparation for the evening’s meal. Each member of the family often has a favorite recipe that they would like to make, or a new recipe that they would like to try. Later in the afternoon we may go for a hike if the weather is nice, or stay in and play board games. In the evening, after dinner, we are full and tired from the hubbub. We sit around the living room or the kitchen and talk lazily with one another before we head home.

My family goes to Vermont and from there to my Nana’s house and we wait for guests to arrive and when they get to the house we play some games, and then go to the dinner table to eat. We usually have turkey and mashed potatoes and if we are lucky we have chocolate pudding pie, pumpkin pie, and my favorite apple crisp!

My lovable little cousin is very energetic so after we eat we watch a movie to calm him down. Then the guests leave and my family will always sleep over at my Nana’s house. Before we leave in the tiered early morning we have breakfast, some times we have it at my favorite diner, The Fairlee Diner, (My Nana’s house is in Fairlee, VT). We also sometimes go to our favorite store in Vermont, Chapman’s! That store has been there from the day we first went to Vermont.

I love Thanksgiving!!

Our family doesn’t really have any real traditions for Thanksgiving. Sometimes we just play football during the day. For dinner we have turkey, cranberry sauce, and stuffing. Sometimes we go to our Aunts house with all of our cousins. We have a huge dinner with cider, turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, corn, and mashed potatoes. As you can see we don’t really have any true traditions.

On Thanksgiving, we go down to Cape Cod. My grandma and grandpa live in Barnstable. In the morning we play a family football game then we watch the annual Packers vs Lions game on fox. After that we eat lunch, which is usually pasta. My grandma is great at making pasta, so we all love it. Pasta is one of my favorite meals. After that my mom starts cooking the turkey. Between lunch and supper, I go to my cousins house. We play Age of Empires, it’s the most awesome computer game ever. Then we have Thanksgiving

At the Holiday season, during Thanksgiving my family and I have a breakfast. We watch the Thanksgiving Day parade and then my brother and I have a regular weekend. During the evening my family and I and all my cousins on my dads side of the family go to my grandmothers for Thanksgiving dinner and my Grandmother puts on a dinner theater for all of the kids. For the past few years though all the older children are not watching the movie my Grandmother plays. This has happened almost as long as I can remember but sometimes we go to Road Island and spend Thanksgiving at my cousins’ house. Unfortunately this is the last year that we will have Thanksgiving at my Grandmothers. Next Thanksgiving we will have it at my house because it will be more covenant because my cousins live down the road.

My family doesn’t really have any family traditions during Thanksgiving. Usually we wake up and my whole family either comes to our house, or our grandma’s house. I always like to make stuffing with my dad. We have sometimes three turkeys, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberries sauce, and other foods. After we eat we play with my cousins and the grown ups talk. I love thanksgiving!

At Thanksgiving, my family and I usually go to my Grandmothers house in Cape Cod, MA, and we stay there for a couple of days and eat things like turkey, chicken, fish, cranberry sauce and more. Then we have pie for dessert. But this time, my Grandmother is coming over to our house, but she’s coming a day after Thanksgiving because she’s a Newfoundland dog breeder, and it’s hard to find someone to take care of her dogs while she’s gone on Thanksgiving, because everyone is celebrating. So we are going to celebrate Thanksgiving a day later with my Grandmother, she’s going to stay for one night, then leave the next day.

I am thankful for my family, because they are always there for me. I love my family for many different reasons.

I am thankful for my house, the shelter that keeps me from freezing or getting wet.

I am thankful for my nice and kind and helpful relatives. I am so lucky to have them as my relatives because if they weren’t my relatives I probably would have never known them.
I am thankful for my much loved pets. I am sooooo lucky to have them as pets. My pets are more than just pets to me. They are a meaningful part of my family.

I am very thankful for my friends. My friends are the type of friends that encourage me to try new things and are there for me kind of like my family.

I am thankful for every second of my life that I live.

I am thankful for this world that I stand on and every thing that is part of my life.

I am thankful for many many things.

I am thankful for my grandmother moving here, so now she can have Thanksgiving with us. She just moved here from California. I am very happy that I can see her more now. One of the other things I am thankful for is all the food my parents make for us. I am also thankful for the rest of my family that we have thanksgiving with. They make thanksgiving one of my favorite holidays.
